Hi all, as this was the thread that started it thought it only right to put it on here, it has been put to mr shepard about a bit off a get together on august 30 and he say yes ,mappo,ainiacs,and a couple of other willing vollanters when to see him at weekend.so save up your pennies and lyre and pasetas and we could have a bit off a do.

Hello all Im now back in very green Hampshire came back the long way round Almeria,Valencia,La Junquera,Lyon,Paris,Calais purely for the sake of nostalgia.
The amont of trucks on the Spanish roads from Valencia upwards is unbeleivable and it seems that even the French and the Germans have disapeared and been replaced by ex Eastern bloc boys. As for your suggestion Maggie D as I dont remember you actually paying for the meal I was unable to deviate on such a fools errand.Whats the latest on the summertime get together and has anyone heard from Charlie one I cant see any recent posts from him and I think he still owes me some money!!!

Hi Ian, Do you rememeber … When we suddenly had to use the Dover … Zeebruge ferry, pop over Belgium, Germany Wasnt the name in germany was a village called “■■■■■■■■ , from Austria and then into Italy from there. Now we had gone in Austria right by the side of Swiss and then go down this sort of road that sort of like a nice ride, lol to Bolzano. Now after a while we can then go back to France but the permits were a different name lol Wasnt “Nunky” who got caught in Tornus ■■ My brain is now going maybe you can remmeber ■■?

Hello Gerbil yep Gazzer has been here for a couple of weeks now but he was having touble logging in on here coz he had forgotten his password 
Richard I remember well having to use Germany / Austria to get into Italy but cant recall the name of the place you are referring to.
We used to cross the border into Austria at Fussen and then into Italia via the Passo de Resia and come down through Merano and Bolzano.

Maybe everyone has gone to sleep Gerby! Yes as Ian says…I am here, dodging the raindrops, double quilt on in bed and the night heater set to max just so I dont feel homesick!
As far as I am aware the question was asked of Tim for the Sunday and it was AOK. Whether he is open all day on a sunday I dunno. Best he does that day. People are coming from far and wide I assume so as I mentioned previously there will be those that want to come all day and those that can only come in the evening. Some may even have to work! So early comers please dont tear orf!
I am scheduled for sundays off and when I can, just clear a few things up with Tim. Is there any food available as a rule, snacks later on etc. People will get hungry and alcohol may need to be soaked up. Also an adequate ventilation system to get rid of the exhaust fumes emitted.
I hope relevant people can be assed to turn up.
I did see Micky Leech in a layby the other day but couldnt stop or the car behind would have mounted me…he might be interested. Anyone else that may not get on here needs to be informed to give them the chance to appear. This is not pointed at you Kev but anyone reading this thread with any interest.
