Hello Charlie, In reply to your request I’ve got a job remembering what I did last week let alone 30 odd years ago, but hang on I do remember one night in Genoa with I-- but I do realize this is a family thread so I will leave it there! but I must say Valencia!!! Any way it will have to be back to the pics!,just the odd one or two It,s amazing who comes out of the wood work when you kick the box!!

Just hear’ed the sad news from Charlie 1 about Jim Rawlings .He was my first boss in haulage, both him and David nurtured me on in the transport industry with the help of Horace , and now they’ve all gone, makes you think doesn’t it, Rest in Peace Jim Regards to all ,Andy PS I don’t get you drift Harry!

Good evening all. Just got back from Jimmy’s funeral.Threw it down with rain. Huge turnout. Many had to stand. Lot of faces. Bob Newman who did not recognise me. Or me him. Brain Damage was also there but we managed to swerve round him. Ernie Bignall also showed. Great to see him.All in all was a good send off. We didn’t go to the wake as I had to get Terry home so we drank to Jim with coffee. Excuse me if there was anyone there who I failed to recognise.Regards Charlie
