They never went to the wall due to high fuel prices, they went to the wall because they had bad business practices :open_mouth:

If they had a fuel surcharge then it wouldn’t matter if diesel was a tenner a litre, ridiculous rate cutting since the dawn of time of time has made transport a commodity rather than an essential service :unamused:

Isn’t that the truth, our industry has seen so many get work by cost not service, then unable to cope on the income and bang.

I’ve seen savage rate cutting on the transporters to get the work, invariably the company goes bang within a short time…not as that matters with certain companies who fire up again the following morning with an extra full stop in the company name…oddly enough they always find the money to pay the fuel suppliers off though….

Wouldn’t be anything with running at a loss on many jobs for the like of container companies tuning out of Humber ports would it

Oh God! not another one

Did they sell all their Iveco Stralis’s before going into administration?

Doesn’t appear to be any for auction other than the couple of white ones. Thought they ran quite a few as well

there was a load of there iveco,s parked in the dealer at Hull last week
