A question that's been asked many a time

Hi there, as the title says, I’m willing to bet it’s been asked before.

If I’ve got all my certificates and passes (Mod 1 certificate, Mod 2 pass sheet, Mod 3 and 4 certificates), can I go and start driving? (I’ve searched for the answer but everything I saw was about people who had done or were doing 35 hours DCPC, not people doing the InitialDCPC).

I know I need a digital tachograph card (just need to collar somebody with a chequebook, no way I’m paying for a postal order), but do I also need to wait for my licence to come back, and the DCPC Card to arrive? Or can I get by with the certificates?

You can drive legally but companies want to see the licence etc before they set you on in 99.99% of cases

Thanks for the reply Rog. Looks like I’ll be waiting for it to come up on the gov webstie before I hand my 2 week notice in (It’ll be like waiting for my provisional all over again! :unamused:)
