To be British, English, Scottish, Welsh or Irish.
In a country where we are so beaten down with debt rules and regs job losses etc etc. It was great to forget all that and watch how hardwork and determination can make you succeed.

I agree mate. All these young kids just starting out look at this GB team. They have worked hard for years and years knowing that short cuts get you nowhere but hard graft has its rewards.

I think everybody involved with the Olympics so far should be proud of themselves, the competitors, those organising it and working there.
Remember the days when we thought we’d done well if we’d got more than a couple of Gold medals at the Olympics?
