The last really bad encounter I had with cyclists was on a country lane when I encountered a ‘pelleton’ riding two-abreast…and an idiot trying to overtake the lot around a blind bend closer to the offside hedge than the nearside one.
I saw him before he saw me…his eyes were bulging, there was dribble running down his chin and his face was distorted with hate…and that was before he saw me! I thought at the time he might have been taking something.
