any info on where the old atkinson a one transport restored, who bought it and where is it now, thanks keith
Saw it at LLandudno yesterday, still in A One colours entered by someone from Ffestiniog. We was loaned it by A One for 2 to 3 years back in early 90’s, my stepmum used to drive it on rallies, she is now 80!

The correct A on the grille and a set of proper steprings for the front wheels would go a long way to giving that restoration some credibility. No steprings at all would be a massive improvement over the plastic [zb] on them right now.
And, of course, a knights head - which a good friend of mine always says - automatically doubles the value of any other make of wagon you fix one to

That was ■■■■ Corner doing it his way though Keith. Do you remember he always had it in the workshop doing nothing in particular with it . Still it gave him something to do until the Junction opened
. I remember taking it for M.O.T. When I’d just past my test and couldn’t get the handbrake off on the brake tester
. The main White coat man had to do it as he used to drive one and I think he was ■■■■■■ off with me revving it up to get the air up and gassing everyone in clouds of Gardener smoke.
. Well it passed and he was suited after driving it around the test centre saying it brought back fond memories.
