A non-trucking question for Dominos pizza drivers

Hi, a question about what you do, so that I can pretend to be knowledgable on another forum

What is delivered into Dominos branches? Ready-prepared fresh pizzas, ready-prepared frozen pizzas, prepared pizza bases and raw ingredients or solely raw ingredients?

If its like perfect pizza it will be frozen bases, and pre-packed ingredients such as meat, tinned goods etc. Don’t know if they get their veg direct or local, we used to get ours from the local asda.

Its not easy to find something productive to occupy your time with after you’ve previously drove a truck !!!

Mike, I have far better things to do than get out of bed at four 'o clock in the morning to be a Tesco slave… YMMV

Should you be interested, this is the thread I am responding to, in which it is suggested that pizza restaurant chains provide better pizzas than supermarket pizzas “because they aren’t frozen”.

Anything of value you can contribute to the subject would, I am sure, be appreciated

I’d agree. From a supermarket they’re cold and uncooked. Pizza restaurant they’re cooked hot and nice. No comparison !

In the original thread, folk were stating that it was worth paying ÂŁ15 for a pizza from one of the pizza chains because they used far superior ingredients to those used in supermarket pizzas.

I doubted that this was the case, and suspected that the chains used similar ingredients, and a similar format to the supermarkets. Hence the question.

Who better to ask than the man who delivers to Dominos?

they get dough balls and fresh prepared veg and meats the sauce is tinned

and they get a delivery every couple of days hope this helps harry
