A noddy tacho question

Hi all,

I know I should know the answer, and am having a bit of a senior moment! I normally drive a digital vehicle, and enter all my weekend & overnight rests and yard work as manual entries when I get into it. I did a morning yesterday on an analogue vehicle, so have a chart covering my time between 0615 & 1320. Do I enter this time onto my digicard as other work, or leave a hole on the card to cover this time?

A couple of the drivers I asked said they don’t bother with manual entries, as it comes up on the report as ‘assumed rest’, and they just submit any charts after 28 days, and leave it to the office to correlate as necessary. I prefer to have a continuous card where possible, just to avoid any queries with any enforcement authorities - especially if I ever go overseas.

Am I being too ■■■■ about it, or should I carry on entering all the info I can?

Gary

No need to input into digi - the analogue card covers it legally
