BBC R4 Farming Today.
About 05hr50 a piece on lack of butchers and pig production problems.
The programme reported it had been asking the Min of Ag for an comment for several days but,
“No interviews are available”.
Who knew? Not enough politicians!
At least, none who can be arsed to answer questions.
What do you expect them to say do?.
Trend lately seems.to be there’s a shortage/problem let’s blame the government.
Not the goevemmts fault as such there’s a driver shortage or shortage of butchers hospitality staff etc.
Why all these companies are blamig the government and wanting hand.outs is beyond me really.
A lot of these company’s have it it to good for to long

So why isn’t a minister explaining why it’s nothing to do with them?

Yes it’s all going swimmingly isn’t it , not
Lets create a false nationwide, and most of the western world included here, state of fear propagandised 24/7 without let up.
Lets pay people 80% of their normal salaries for them not to work.
Lets give business grants/loans to certain self employed so they too don’t have to work.
Lets allow militant groups to form, especially among state employees who whatever they do or don’t do will always get their full salaries, they too won’t have to turn up for work and can ruin the lives of others with impunity.
Let the taxpaying working public, who all through this scam have continued to work normally, pay for all of the above as they work normally during this time and for the rest of their lives.
What could possibly go wrong?
Lets have a think why so many people have realised going to work is no longer required, having got used to ‘free’ money when the state will borrow £billions to run this mass scam for working taxpayers to repay.
Govts have no money, they take money from people who work for a living (before they receive it and from almost everything they spend from what they have left) and businesses who thrive, though their bestest mate’s businesses who benefit the most from and have aided the scam along the way don’t have to pay their share.
Do you know the best way to stop Operation Fear in its tracks…switch off the idiot box in the corner, switch off the radio when the Ministry of Truth broadcasts on the hour or half hour, do not read anything from the MSM.
Then adopt using one simple word every day of your life, whenever some apparatchik paid lackey or brainwashed fool requires you to do something you know deep in your heart is wrong and/or stupid to go along with this long term plan of evil, say NO.

Lack of butchers, these days the traditional butchers and their abattoirs are nigh on extinct, its production line processing, who do you blame SUPERMARKETS. who want prepacked meats at the cheapest price no matter where it comes from. Concentrate on the UK market and stop the cheap meat imports from Europe. Two traditional butchers in our area and they have queues out the door at w/e,you dont see that happening very often, if at all in supermarkets.
Pig breeders breeding more than they can sell to the UK market

You can’t blame supermarkets. That is the pinnacle of shooting the messenger. It’s us grunts that dictate the market. Before, when we had high street choices over supermarkets, we voted with out feet. The same is now happening with online purchases. We are always going to go where we get more bang to our buck. There’s only so much a government can do without being accused of becoming a communist state. ‘Buy British’, ‘shop local’ etc. Messages from the top! Unless the start imposing a minimum price structure, (see Scotland alcohol) supermarkets will always drive down the rates they pay that they pass on to the consumer. I’m not saying any of it’s right, but it is what happens.

Pig breeders breeding more than they can sell to the UK market**
Problem is the breeders / fatteners are contracted to the pig meat producers (eg Cranswick Mills) to supply x amount of pigs per week / month. Once the tap is turned on to get that amount of pigs through the system it is very difficult to turn off or even slow down.
