Perhaps you could sum up the changes in a few short sentences Pete, as you seem to enjoy reading rules and regulations?

Perhaps you could sum up the changes in a few short sentences Pete,
Too complex an issue to be summed up in a few short sentences Rob.
Rob K:
as you seem to enjoy reading rules and regulations?
Since you have said many times that you would not lower yourself to doing continental work, I’m surprised you even read this board, let alone have some comment, however inane, on European work to make.
Rob k TO BEAT THE FOE YOU MUST KNOW THEM
IGNORANCE OF WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS
CAN MAKE OR BREAK MANY FIRMS or OWNER-DRIVERS
THE United Kingdom was asked if they wish to particapate
in the EURO-VINGETTE when it first came in to being
IF THEY HAD JOINED THEN — THE TRANPORT
WOULD HAVE AT LEAST BEEN BETTER OFF AS IT IS NOW:
ROB K the publication is one that when you read it the answer will depend on weither you have travelled and worked abroad as a International driver
as you then have partaken in theexperience of what other countrys do as reagrds road tolls, IF you have only worked in the UK you have not been used to paying for useing the roads apart from the TUNNELS;BRIDGES; FERRYS;
and the roads where a toll is raised,
what does the vingette do it brings a revenue in to help subsidise
the damage done to the roads by the heavy-traffic which uses it,
it makes the public aware of the environment ,and when the transport firms invest in newer vehicles its rates are lowered for useing the road
which system will win is unclear but the AUSTRIANs will be looking for a replacement as their system will soon be outdated, Those country who do not at present charge and those who do are looking at ways to ensure that
whichever system they use it will be cost effective and secure
WHEN a euro wide maut system comes into being then we will not have any
one running for pennys any more YES even those eastern firms will be unable
to run at lowrates,it will also ensure thatrunning emptey will not be worth it
unless you have a special transport ,to run
one point also shown is the difference in running costs of each system
from 5%–30%the FUTURE IS a euro-wide maut
ALSO THE RATES FOR ROAD TRANSPORT WILL HAVE TO RISE
AND NO AT PRESENT THE TRAIN IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT
A LORRY ; we are faster punctual relieable
This is only a few points and ROB K i am no
proffesor, I do have one Problem with this
how will they run the various accounts for each land
when paying for the use of the road will we get away with
one unit or will each country try and force their units on
or will it be like the when TRANSITING SWISS stop
and book in and out, what about the freedom of movement■■?
my only grief to the vignette is the lack of purchase points,it should be available to buy in all service areas.
