I often see posts with the word break when the correct word is brake. I get over it by reasoning that some people are using their second language on this site.

As you know perfectly well, we did the subject of spelling and grammar some time ago.

It was decided that if a post is readable, then it’s OK.

The errors you have pointed out are indeed errors, but they don’t make a post unreadable.

I have heard of people trying to water down adblue roughly 70\30 mix, but this only gives you exhaust system warning lights an as far as Im aware it does the engine in. not heard of VOSA checking for it tho… :astonished:

How can a spray in the cat do the engine in?
Too much water can corrode the ad blue injector, which is costly to replace, doesn’t effect the engine.

Exhaust or ad blue sensors CAN restrict the engine power to reduce emissions and save the planet, but it’s all done through the ecu so won’t cause any permanent damage.

Im not a macanic it was just what the Daf fitter was telling me, who knows he may have been talking crap. But just assumed being a macanic he knew what he was on about. :question:
