A minority hgv driver

going along the M4 today and i was behind a truck belonging to a company in redruth cornwall,[no names]i had the edge so rather than sit behind him i pulled out to overtake, slowly got past him and a AA truck, he then pulled out to overtake said AA truck,i was on the 56mph limit and slowly pulled ahead in the first lane,he then stayed in the middle lane further back until we got to the down slope at J15 swindon,he then went hairing past me at about 65 MPH pulled into the first lane and then further up pulled back into the middle lane cutting a car driver up and forcing said car driver to brake hard to avoid a collision,if you are on this site fella you know this is about you,and its drivers like you who give us a bad name, enough said

Well said

Kin idiot should dob the ■■■■ in it i would, unless he,s a member and says sorry for being a pratt

Let he is without sin…

Im rapidly starting to think the minority lorry driver is the one who is a thoughtful and considerate driver

I’ve done worse…
Hang on- this was me, sorry drive crack on…

If I remember correctly I lifted off the limiter so I could let you overtake quicker then after overtaking the AA van saw you had slowed down and rather than sit behind you deceided to give her a run down the hill. (60mph max).

I indicated well in advance and the car eased off to let me in, he / she didn’t have to but thats how it unfolded, brake lights coming on may have been part and parcel of that.
Have you been driving long, if this non-event winds you up so much your in for a shocker of a career. :sunglasses:
It wasn’t really me just some light trollin…

This is going to be good

I think he’s more annoyed that I overtook him, even after letting him past so i could overtake the slower AA van afterwards. I do like to give breakdown vehicles plenty of space in case they are looking for a customer on the hard shoulder.
I must admit seeing the AA van well in advance I did knock her off a few clicks as I was hoping they would pull off or speed up. Unfortunately I had this truck up my chuff for 2 miles and I was starting to think they would never pluck up the courage to come past.

Bit further up I didn’t want to have the same situation again with this tale gater so was a little aggresive with my indicator when encountering a slower vehicle, car eased off flashed me in though so alls good.
Never saw the OP again though so maybe he was preparing his TNUK post.
you know I’m typing out my arse right and this wasn’t me.

Nice 1 dipper dave. Can’t see what the OP problem is, Quick enough to snitch on a public forum aswell!

Yep well done Dave good explanation, Perhaps op needs to go into central London thats a real eye opener kin cranks on push bikes and super bikes buses stopping right in front of ya all the time, i could go on but i won,t

It can’t have been either of you as the op clearly said a firm from Redruth, unless it’s an emmitt driving for em he/she won’t have qualified for an abacus yet leave alone a keyboard and tinternet.

1st rule of truck club- no snitching or getting wound up by the actions or inactions of fellow damsels of the road… although pictures and videos are allowed for perusal and humourous critique

No word from albion yet?

I’m getting worried, this is right up his alley.
Even if I was giving the AA van some protection from the hero coming up my behind (so to speak)

What I’ve highlighted, that dont do our image any good, agreed, but some off these motorists do need to look past the end off the bonnet :unamused:
As for the rest off the post, dont see the where the issue is, you overtook him, he overtook you, fine. When all is said and done, its for the other guy to carry the can if anything goes wrong when he let it go at gate 15.

Who hasnt occasionaly used a bit off gravity drive
