I decided to sort my bike out this week as I am off work, got all the paperwork out to tax it and noticed the wrong number on the insurance. My fault I put a cheap plate on it that was on a car I bought last year, and when I put the bike on SORN and never told the insurance. So I rang them up, nice chap sorted it in under 2 minutes, job finished, new policy e-mailed to me all done. Then said there would be a £42 administration charge and if I wanted a hard copy posting to me there was an extra charge ontop. So I said no I refuse to pay that much its unreasonable and I demanded to speak to his manager, he said he would log the complaint and I said no, I wanted to lodge an official complaint and wanted to talk to somebody. Put on hold for 20 seconds or so and it then suddenly became a £20 charge for admin. These big faceless companies really ■■■■ me, you have to have the insurance so your ■■■■■■ all ends up cos they are all in a cartell and charge the same. Just pleased I got a result for a change, I know its only 20 quid but its cheered me up, and it just shows what they can do if you say no. Probably only borrowed they will have it back at renewal time 
Insurance company’s ■■■■ me off to, they hit everyone where its hurts. Fairplay for getting some money knocked of, but yea they will get it back in the end one way or another.
I complained about the Bank of Scotland telebankin charges, was asked to hold then told they were re-embursing my account with £20, please hold, ok, waited another 4 mins while they got it back off me. WTF !!
