Arrived Paris yesterday morning, doing my 1st Euro delivery in my new job.
Parked nice and tight next to the building I was dropping at. Got out to find the man I was delivering to.
I locked my cab, just as a fool in a DAF artic, delivering blocks drove past. On his way past, he realised there was not enough room for his trailer to get by, and carried on anyway. The rear of his trailer, ripped the entire front nearside off of my nice shiny Merc Atego 818.
Had to drive home with everyone looking and shaking their heads. Not a nice way to start. Ah well. :unamused: :unamused:

If it makes you feel any better I once (nearly) ripped the cab off a french Merc unit in Garonor, that went down well!!! :sunglasses:

Everyone does it around Paris.I was in a queue on the A86 last week when a copper in a plain car,siren wailing and blue light on the dashboard,came hurtling through between the two lanes of traffic,he completely took the mirror off some woman’s new Fiesta and kept going.
She was crying her eyes out.That shiny Fiesta won’t stay shiny very long around there.
