A gig in Ireland

Millions of Irish people have taken to the streets to express their outrage at paying millions for a legendary rock gig only to find a badly-dressed old woman and her racist husband wandering round their capital city.

Looks like the tower for you.

You’ve got it wrong. They actually thought it was going to be a 1980’s retro U2 gig but it turned out to be the head of the Church of England making a speech about the benefits of divorce and abortion and that Ireland would be a bettter place if it had been populated by a lot more ethnic Africans and Asians just like here and based on how the Black and Tan proved to be so popular. :open_mouth:

Toby, zb off :stuck_out_tongue:

It`s getting some coverage over here lads.8,000 of our finest law enforcement people up to the big city for four days! They(sorry WE),are planking it in case anything untoward happens either. There were scuffles in Dublin last night, but in fairness, more just gurriers and rent a crowd stuff. The law took no crap, straight into the animals.
Great speech by both heads of state this evening though.
HRH has decreed that because of past deeds etc.,they are going to sign the payments over to us, for Wales,as a way of making it up to us.

COOL! so now I need to drink guiness and eat potatoes, yes

Dont know if ye saw it over there, the party visited the Guinness Storehouse, which is now some sort of interpretive centre, dedicated to the history of Guinness. They pulled a pit for herself, who,I believe doesn`t drink, which she duly declined. The long fellah beside her though?
The whole party moved off,and there he was still gazing lovingly at the poor pint sitting on the counter, looking very lonely.
All joking aside, the overwhelming feeling over here was one of welcome towards the whole visit, and very glad it passed off peacefully,(apart from the usual hooligan element).Apparently, our Taoiseach, asked her back for another visit and this was warmly accepted!

Very good.
Huge funeral and turnout for him today in Dublin. He was a good man.And did more than most to promote peace in these islands. While he was very sick from last week,I hope he was aware of the impending visit, and it would not have been contemplated without people like himself.
