Hi Steve,What no piano shoe or webbing?hope you are keeping well.
Yes jeff it must of been a harpsicord !!! ,I did notice he was on his own
Hi Steve, that would have been a three man job on pickfords ha ha
Yes Jeff I know "dad should had at least one man with him! , did you notice his apron ?
Hi Steve, yes i noticed the apron, the mark of a true removals man.
just bought in four containers from the 1st stage of a move in to storage , bloody long walk and could not finsh this stage due to poor comunication with the students and college , one lad was in bed and the young girl was half dressed when we came through the door , i was at the back “honest” .
THREE FLIGHTS UP WITH A SPIRAL STAIR CASE .
This shot was of a lane on the ■■■■■■ hill , unable to get close with the wagons " we did not want to scratch the trucks" over three days 6 containers into store so we used “dads van” and did 50 trips up the lane to the waiting containers , this lot is going to the south of france in September .
My dad moved them to this address 28 years ago , we opened the air raid shelter which dad filled up all them years ago , the dr said he never even tryied to get in there since dads filled it up . , there was also a very oldstone through which was by the front door on its side, the dr said dad refuesd to take it any further as he had waited a couple of hours to get the keys and was knackered , it was still in the same spot for 28 years
Good job he liked dad , we have been working for him for 40 years .
Hi Steve Is that van of yours a bit tricky in a cross wind?
Hi jeff , its not that bad but did one crap myself going over the Manchester ship canal (empty) , lucky that I managed to shelter myself alongside a forty footer .
Did a mornings work today at Robinsons (abingdon) unloading a mega container full of goods from the states . Part of a fleet line up .
