nice pics.
i’ve seen some documentaries on the roads out there, certainly looks an, “interesting” place to drive.

brakes, lights and indicators are options. Horns are mandatory.

Nice.Looks like in Europe around 1970/80

smashing pics…if ye dont mind me asking …how come yer over there then…?

I go each year for hols.
Just come back from 4 weeks there.
Would not like to live there!
but find the trucks fascinating.
Some odd ball stuff there, e.g Ashok leylands with ford cargo cabs. Not a Scania, Volvo or daf to be seen …yet!
Most of the Tata trucks look to be rebadged Mercs but in fact are re engineered as well.
The old looking trucks are either old Tata (pre Merc) or Ashok Leyland which are in fact usually Leyland comet chassis ( albion clydesdale/ AEC Mercury) with a leyland 400 engine.
The bigger 6 wheelers are generally Leylands too with the 680 engine.
the sounds bring back many memories, sound like a truck should sound.
also good to see drivers changing half shafts and clutches at the side of the road…proper drivers ?

Interesting pics thanks.

Wheelnut will probably be along soon to ask why there’s no pics of children. :imp:
