Found this picture on my brother Andy’s Flickr site

Bob Hedley.png

Andy’s Transcontinental VPC 721X and Bob Hedley’s 142 in the desert near Nassariya. Iraq 08 Feb 1984.

Andy must have been on his way down to Saudi. I flew home to get married, which was on 18/02/84, and Andy stayed in my flat in Al Khobar for a couple of days before heading home.

Our flat in Saudi - much more comfortable than the Cabin Hotel

That’s why it was always nice to bump into one of Pryors on a border when the customs were doing a ‘‘control’’,everyone got ‘‘sweeties’’ for lunch.
They were nicknamed ‘‘Charlies chocolate cowboys’’.
Various companys had the Mars contract though the 70s and 80s to the ME.
