Can anyone recommend a decent TV aerial for freeview in the truck, I am looking at an avtex sth1000, but have already bought 2 different aerials which dont really work and I dont want to buy another useless ornament.
Not sure if this is of any help but I have this indoor ariel in my loft and it picks up all the freeview channels - no problem - I think it was about a fiver from TESCO.
I bought something similar from asda, it works in strong reception areas, but as you know quite often parking up can be anywhere and I think out of 4 nights out I only got a reception once last week.
this is what i use and although its quite expensive its the dogs danglies,got it suckered to the sun roof and ive not had any problems picking up a signal
i use an omnimax £90 new £15 from caravan breakers

not sure how true it is but I remember reading on here that CB aerials made very good freeview aerials

I have the cheapest cb aerial you can buy, the one with the spring on the bottom, a mag mount and a signal booster that cost £20. stuck on the back of the cab and works as good as the expensive ones.
