Yesterday had a few jobs around the North West then it was up to Newcastle (NE) later in the afternoon and a night in the truck, I got to the pick up nice and early as instructed only to be told the big lump of metal that I was due to pick up and take to Widnes would not be ready (it was being modified) until next week. :open_mouth:
So a call to the office and was told to head back to Warrington :smiley:

Looks like I am back up there next week :laughing:

So if you saw a guy in a grey empty rigid Scania singing his nuts off that was me :laughing:

Have you had any spectacular non event loads? :laughing:

Yep, got sent up to Hirwaun, Merthyr, all the way from Bristol, (about 50 miles) over the Severn Bridge £18+ & a good hour into Wales, only to be told that the load wasn’t booked until the next week. Ran all the way back to MK, empty ! Lol.

Poor old Tom in the office hasn’t lived it down, he read the email & only noticed it said Tuesday, but got the wrong Tuesday !
I sometimes wind him up by asking him for a Back Load from South Wales. He he !
