dieseldave: Is the TM called delboytwo by any chance?
yes i am so what you guess dave
OK boss, you asked for it. + line + sinker
Referring to my question and your answer… 100 infringements in a week is a surprisingly low number and is easily explaind by the driver adhering to the company policy on the use of tachographs as written by the TM.
With 100 ‘infringements’ I’d be interested in seeing the card However, here’s a few more for the list;
insufficient weekly rest
insufficient daily rest 11 hours
insufficient daily rest 9 hours
insufficient daily rest 3+9 hours
insufficient daily rest multi-manned
exceed 4.5 hours driving
exceed 10 hours driving
exceed 9 hours driving
exceed 56 hours driving
exceed 90 hours driving
exceed 60 hours ‘work’ RT(WT)R
insufficient break under RT(WT)R
exceed night time working limit RT(WT)R
Fail to enter start location
fail to enter end location
incorrect mode selected
card inserted whilst driving
time overlap
last card session not correctly closed
motion data error
power supply interruption
security breach
card fault
vu fault
fail to keep record - but how would you know if only checking card?
false record - again, how would you know from only checking card?
obviously there may be multiple occurrences of each infringement
dieseldave:
Driver failed to hand in digi-card to TM for download.
Not really an infringement, you only have to make it available not actually hand it to TM.
dieseldave:
Driver drove on seven (or more) consecutive days
Not an infringement. Nothing wrong with driving on seven, or more, consecutive days.
Monday Start work 06:00 after regular weekly rest period

Thursday - work
Friday - work
Saturday finish 12:00 and start weekly rest.
Sunday 12:00 resume work.
Monday - work
Tuesday - work, finish 14:00
Wednesday - work, resumed 15:00
Thursday - work
Friday - work
Saturday - work
Sunday - work and commence regular weekly rest period at end of shift.
Driving on 14 consecutive days and legal.

You’ll have to take back some of those points.
I was rather hoping to have let the TM tell me those.
