A 75 M6 to Dumfries and Straener boat catchers

it is a good feeling when you push the irish on that road and then over take them, the look on there faces  (i now that road very well)    :stuck_out_tongue:  many moons ago

Donegal Mafia indeed. It the wans from the north who are the worst McCulla Hughes Sawyers and their ilk… their motto is Paddy on tour going like a ■■■■■.

Think you’ll find the majority who are
“in the pack” will be Manfreight/McAlonam (MVH) or Sawyers/MorganMcLernon/McBurney subbies!!!

Hilarious thread, it’s like a gay bar crashing into a Convoy reunion.

Bunch of halfwit ferry chasers being treated like little biatches for a crap day rate so they need to “drive” like bell ends to earn the next 90 euros.
Proper heroes…

Ohi for a Scania and a spare card then I can be a proper driver too…dicks.

Funnily enough I come off the boat into stranraer at 6am the other friday, landed similar time to P&O, I wasn’t rushing to get back but wasn’t exactly going slow, everyone was in a mad rush, I thought exactly the same as you, but hey ho I didn’t start a thread on trucknet about it I just got on with life

If ya`s avin troubles keepin up, get yasen a coach diff fitted in

Volvo2 and Bigtruck , the firms you both mentioned are the ones that are trained by Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton to drive a rig in Kamikaze style.
Get out of my way , I am coming through .
Like I said its 40 mph on that stretch .
Rubbish road for a boat catcher .
It should be dual from the Gretna turn off to the port.
Unmarked cars to keep an eye out
for.
Next time I will go flat out and get nicked then I can cry like a girl and be a troll.
Or join the elite pack of cowboy road runners.

+1…ignorance is bliss.
I wonder if someone will enlighten the poor chap that northern Ireland is the uk and we all earn the queens dosh there…which is part of the reason they have been blowing the place up for the last number of years…

I thought northern ireland used pounds must have changed since i was last over.Or are you the ■■■■ and dont have a clue what your talking about.

I have no problem with bellend of any persuasion giving it large, be they souped up Corsa pilots with a cherry bomb and 10000 watt subwoofer or wannabe Kris Kristoffersons giving it the tang ferry chasing crap, but if either expect that their childish and dangerous need to be an outlaw means that I need to pull in to let them get past, they can go and ■■■■ themselves with a pointy stick. I wouldn’t deliberately hold them up (I always wait for any truck behind me to get past once we hit a dual carriageway stretch), and will crack on if the road and load let me. But if I want, or need to slow down for corners, I slow down for corners.

It has ever been thus on this road to Stranraer and Cairnryan. It used to be tad more exciting though: it’s interesting to note the approx. 15mph gap between the 40mph drivers and the 56mph drivers. Twenty years ago the gap was exactly the same, but the lower speed (that drivers used) was 56mph and the upper speed was 70mph (as there were still plenty of pre-speed limited units on the road and more scope for pulling fuses and over-riding the limiters) . What is it with Irish registered trucks overtaking on blind bends and in to oncoming traffic forcing them to take evasive action.

The Irish are not exactly famous for being clever. Not sure what else you expect from them

Let me tell you this Mr Terry we Irish are smarter than the English Scots or Welsh in fact smarter than most of the world. I do not take kindly to that remark. Now I am giving you the benefit of the doubt THIS TIME only a not very smart person would make an assumption like that. Your village maybe is missing you

Oh, too late!

best way is to time your run so that you are tagging along behind the F1 teams…
I used to take Roadferry trailers up to Cainryan… drop and catch,
then have a look at the boat times, and have a break until the fuss died down…
mind you, I did have an AM cb so i knew what was happening down the road

And Glenluce and Gatehouse sorted most of it all out -
slow and heavy =inside lane
fast and light = overtaking lane
plenty of horsepower = third lane ,flat out and away .
It was never a great feeling cresting the top of Glenluce to meet a boat load of lorries coming up and a few using the lane you were going down it to come up it !!! didn’t happen as often at Gatehouse as most of the "sorting out " was done by then but it did happen a few times .
Toby - get yourself one of those fancy little numberplates with your name on it - I’ll be watching for you - I might even give you a flash (of the lights that is ) on the way past .

Right Toby I’m going to prove to you how much ■■■■ you talk on here. Now I’ve got a brilliant memory for useless pish. And I know this is at least the 4/5 thread I’ve seen you make about the A75 over the years.

Now a quick search you hate the road

Another quick search and it’s now one of your favourite roads
