I was nicked for no seat belt, no excuses, no-ones fault except mine. I was fined 1400 Euro which was eventually reduced to 500 Euro iirc.

I was pulled off the A6 for not having my seat belt on and was told it was a fixed rate of €90 per person (we were double manned), but as all else was in order he let us off the passenger fine so for both of us it cost €90
