£100 extra per load

Just a general question but what would £100 per load extra mean to your business. I am talking about full loads 24 ton and over 200 miles distance travelled and in the general haulage side of things rather than specialist transport. Would it mean you could upgrade your truck? Pay yourself a better wage ? Increase your vehicles? Employ more drivers ?
If a minimun pence per mile where to be put in place for transport what would you think should be the minimum ? Serious answers only please.
I am not an owner driver, but have been driver for 25 years and I am working on something that has been puzzling me for a while now. Once I have put facts and figures together I will reveal all on here. I maybe barking completely up the wrong tree in what I am thinking so please bare with me but your anwers will help me.

Thanks
Paul

first of all, the extra £100 per load would go towards paying of bills that have stemmed from the recession, then depending on how long that takes, then it could be for any reason, improving fleet, improving drivers wages

at this moment in time, i would not think that there were many companies that would be considering increasing the fleet size

Just think hanky spanky a extra £100 per load could mean you could for once buy proper trucks for your drivers if nothing else. Esp your no 1 driver kit kat :grimacing: he would give his back teeth and right arm for a V8 SCANIA stop been one mean tight misrable old git and get him one!!! :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: And not putting the extra £100 per load in you very deep pockets with you “pet” tenners you keep in them
