90 Hours

Hi just wondering if someone can tell me, I use a digi card and I am wondering if the rolling 90 hours go down after a rest break of 24 hours or is it at the end of each fixed week. I have never looked before after I have had a reduced weekly rest.

Cheers

The driving rules are seperate from the rest rules but for a better definition wait for a site tacho GURU

The 90 hours is a rolling calculation based on the current and previous week. Weekly rest periods do not reset this calculation, at the start of a new fixed week, 00:00 Monday, the total will reduce as the driving hours from 2 weeks ago are dropped.

For example:

Week 1.

Holiday 0 hours driving.

Week 2.

00:00 Monday, fortnightly total shows 0 hours.
40 hours driving in week.
23:59 Sunday, fortnightly total shows 40 hours.

Week 3.

00:00 Monday, fortnightly total shows 40 hours.
47 hours driving in week.
23:59 Sunday, fortnightly total shows 87 hours.

Week 4.

00:00 Monday, fortnightly total shows 47 hours as 40 hours from week 2 are dropped.
43 hours driving in week.
23:59 Sunday, fortnightly total shows 90 hours.

Week 5

00:00 Monday, fortnightly total shows 43 hours as 47 hours from week 3 are dropped.

Cheers for the help. I thought that it was at the end of the fixed week. At least I wont have to work this weekend now.
