9 pallets of pills stolen

From a German truck, how the hell did the driver not realise that,he/she would have felt the movement in the trailer, heavy sleeper,or drunk?Think Herman will have a p45 waiting on return.

02 Feb 2012 - Northants M1: Freight Theft

Wednesday night/Thursday morning … at the Truck Stop, Junction 15a Northbound Services M1, Northamptonshire - previously known as Rothersthorpe Services
Offender(s) unknown gained access to rear cargo area of an articulated lorry (that was only secured by a plastic tie) while vehicle was parked with driver asleep. They took 9 pallets of Zydol capsules (strong pain killers) from this German registered vehicle
Any information on offence or knowledge of illegally sold painkillers to: Northants Police or TruckPol.

Thats the one.

Amazing, what an idiot. You could at least put the drugs in a box van or fridge with a staple lock on ffs. :unamused:

That’s a big headache for someone.

One Zydol 50mg capsule contains 50mg tramadol hydrochloride

Tramadol - the active substance in Zydol Capsules - is a painkiller belonging to the class of opioids that acts on the central nervous system. It relieves pain by acting on specific nerve cells of the spinal cord and brain.

Cheap and popular high apparently.

Tramadol a popular high !!!

Last time I was prescribed tramadol it knocked me out.Sleepy time.
Strong stuff.

I am going for an MRI and they have given me some to practice with

Wow !! Thats a hard pill to swallow

I doubt that they were stolen to order, more like opportunist thieving scumbags
who will open up the sheet and thieve whatever comes to hand.

Yeah, and it gives you some proper radged dreams

The bag heads round here take tramps just for the radged dreams they bring.

Being for the benefit of Mr Kite, there will be a show tonight, on Trampoline…

And they would think all their birthdays had come at once, there will be a ready market for them on the streets of Northampton or Derby for that matter.

they should give drug addicts all the jollop they can handle “on the house”.
eventually they`ll die, saving the tax payer millions and cutting crime levels to boot

As usual the drongo’s on here think the driver is to blame, either he was drunk or involved!! My son parked on the services near Heathrow a couple of years ago,
after a long day he was wrecked. He was woken up the next morning by another driver with the bad news. His curtainsider was badly damaged and most of his
load of designer clothing (palletized for Heathrow) was missing he never heard or felt anything. Luckily he was parked exactly where he was instructed so there
no comeback by the company or the insurance. He has been a long time agency driver for the firm involved and is still working for them. regards Kevmac47.

If the driver had woken up and suspected that he was being burgled should he have got up, armed himself with a rolled up newspaper and gone round the back to ask the drug-dealers, burglars, miscreants to please desist. If it were me and I had a phone with me and I had a signal and i would not have provoked the attention of the criminals, I would have called the police.

How fast would it be to unload 9 pallets, they must have had a large van even if they handballed them off, surely someone must have seen something on a busy service area.

Why will the driver get a P45 Toby■■?..since when have we become nightwatchman on top of of being a driver??
I sleep really heavily and it takes a lot to wake me up…dont think my cab rocking would wake me up.

I say its not opur job to guard the load during the night…secure parking should have been organised for the driver!! :unamused:

find tobys location and you might find the tramadol…at least it might explain some ramblings.

Whoever was responsible for the type of trailer and locks available, wether he was an owner driver or his company are the idiot. The driver does need to take some responsibility in reiterating to his higher ups that leaving a load of drugs on a trailer with a plastic seal between them and freedom is a bit stupid.

Will the DCPC stop this sort of thing from happening?
