Got the pleasure of having to night out in Brum so to morrow being Saturday and I’ll just be running back and parking up
I stopped at 3:50pm started at 6am 30 mins short on driving to get back
So would you take 9 hours and run at 1 am getting back at 4 and go back to bed or take 11 and leave about 4 am getting back at 7 am and stay up
Both options involve a bacon sarnie at some point

Can you not just take 3 hours then run back in?
I dont fully understand the whole split rest thing but if you did that youd be ok to go in again Monday would you not with the rest of Saturday and sunday to make up the rest time?

Youve had 9 hours sleep so you can stay up when you get in at 7 and that will see you through till Saturday night. If you arrive at 4 then try to stay up, youre going to start to fade early

I’d take the 11 then run back, meaning as you say you can’t start your day at a sensible hour. Going home then going back to be for a few hours would screw up my body clock something chronic!
If it’s a Friday I go to the pub few a couple of hours then have a feast and sleep till I’m ready to run back, then I’m not shattered all day sat. Hate getting up too early on a sat 
I will sleep but any got any good sea gull recipes !?

Have 11 off, more relaxing for the weekend ahead.
Getting home at stupid o ■■■■ would upset my beloved.
Much better to get back home at say 7.30 slip into bed just as the wife is awaking from her slumber then slip into the wife.
It’s a known fact the female of the species is much hornier in the morning or when ■■■■■■■
Course if you don’t have a partner just have 9 off… 
Oh and obviously you have a 15 left for today to allow the 9 off regardless of how long you’ve been at work.

I would have done if I could have garentted just the 1/2 run over but with the A34 in the mix it would have been more like an hour

Would depend if I was getting a guaranteed 8 hour shift paid, in which case on the go after 9 hours to get home earlier, then snooze later.
