Sam Anderson @ Glasgow way?
I am sure DFDS didn’t have a clue as to which trailers they had and didn’t, the yard was chock full of them and I never could find the trailer number I have been given.

anybody remember that davis turner program what was shown remember it any links think its 80s or 90s
There was also a programme about a Van Hee from Newcastle driver, who was the spit of Kenny Rogers the singer. That could have been early 90s also if I think about it.
There was another programme about a North East driver in the 80s in an ERF car transporter. It was about the upgrade of the A1. I remember them going into Quernhow Cafe in the days when it was a good caff.
bloody hell you have a good memory if you remember the Quernhow being ‘good’ its been [zb] for as long as I can remember. I am guessing Glenndinings was the car transporter firm?
Could be can’t remember, they were like a maroon and beige livery.
Yeh in the 80s Quernhow was a bloody good cafe. Is it right that it is closed now? I’m sure someone told me that.
Thought I had gone back in time tonight coming up the M5 tonight north bound round about Gloucester area.
I was in the middle lane doing a limiter contest with one of Downtons I looked in my mirror and saw an old Scania right behind me.
Being a good driver I backed off and pulled in to let him past. It was a B reg 1985 112, or could even have been a 142, that’s a 30 yr old motor still working and it looked in good nick.
Anyway he wasn’t limited and left me standing touching about 70 ( like the good old days before bunching and elephant racing)
I would have took a photo whle driving to show everybody, but Orangeboy told me off last time I did So blame him.

Was it red ish with a lighter (white ?) stripe across the front and down the door , I saw one yesterday in the half dark on the M40/42 and had to look twice before it passed me going the opposite direction, It was like being in a time warp .
Good to see guys keeping old stuff working for a living and showing what they are worth still.
