Thats not a DAF 2600 unit, but a DAF FTT 3500.
This one was in competition with a other dutch truck factory FTF.

Thanks for the info. I diddent now that. I think always it was an DAF on an FTF construction. Was there more of only one for the Dutch Army?

Hi Bert.

This was the onlyone who DAF has make as prototype for the dutch army.
This one has the same engine as the FTF army tractor.
Daf sold them after a long time on the Belgium Heavy Haulage company Sarens.
And they export the DAF3500 to Indonasia for a big project.
I don,t of he is still alive. Thats all what i know form him.
In mine army time has i drive 1 time with them on the factory by DAF Eindhoven.
