On the Sally line. Customs decides that because I’m a new face I should get turned out. Roof lining inspected with a torch and probe, door cards pulled off, rear cab lining probed and prodded, bedding, clothing, shelving, behind the radio and CB, crawled around underneath and took nearly an hour to declare that I was clean.
Never once did anyone open the glove box which on my F12 was quite large and contained… a coffee mug and a jar of Nescafe.
He had been stopped 6 previous times and still thought they wont stop me

I’ve never brought drugs over, but if I had, the 2nd from last thing I would have done is mention it to people I know,…and then the absolute last thing I’d do would be to boast about it on a public forum. 
Maybe that will dawn on Phil now eh, with all the time he has on his hands.

QUite often we would bring fruit back in the tilt, I usually had some for myself placed on the cab roof behind the wind deflector, they never looked there once. thebeardedone

Maybe it was a cry for help, maybe someone had his wife and children as hostage, or maybe not. I thought he was a knob when he did the aid runs to Romania
And a Bulgarian also starting a 12 year sentence for the same offence was on the news last night…albeit a lot more of the happy stuff so they tell me.
