I’m trying to do a bit of research about a company my grandad worked for.
The company is called “Hempel” or “Hempel Bros.” and they operated out of Bingley, near Bradford, in Yorkshire.
He was there for 25 years and so they must have been fairly well established and they used to run everywhere from what I understand, however very little of them is known about in my family.
They shut down in about 1979 and had been operating since the early 50’s so I’m hoping someone has got any pictures of their trucks, any memories, recollections etc?!
Absolutely anything would be brilliant, hopefully someone out there can help?!

P.S one of the only things we do know about them is they used to have a pretty big hand in collecting fat from slaughter houses all over the region, if that triggers anything?!
