I’m looking at a job on monster for a 7.5T multidrop/loader driver. It says CPC (obviously) but there’s no mention of tacho card requirement.
Can anyone explain the situation or point me to the WTD that applies here? Cheers.
if its for hire or reward then all the euro tacho regs apply just as if it where a 18tonner or artic or whatever.
Could be analogue tacho
A lot of 7.5t where I work are still on analogue.
Without stating the obvious, then: Even though there’s no mention of a tacho card requirement, I’ll need it and a working knowledge of driver hours as it’ll most likely have a tacho fitted.
If the vehicle is fitted with a digital tachograph and the job is in-scope of EU regulations you’ll need a driver card.
If the vehicle is fitted with an analogue tachograph and the job is in-scope of EU regulations you won’t need a driver card but must carry it if you have one.

This has nothing to do with the WTD.
My mistake. I meant ‘driver hours’.
