7.5t beaver tail or car transporter

i dont suppose anyone on here has one they can lend/hire to me for the coming sunday in north cornwall do they?

need to get a rangerover with a blown headgasket home…

Where for ?
Where to ?
Distance between ?

You could A-frame tow and put R/R both boxes in neutral as an option :bulb:
or remove both props if keen on wrapping your knuckles to tow :unamused:

its over 80 miles, from barnstaple to bodmin. i’d rather do it properly if i can, its not recommended to to a r/r with the wheels on the ground.

If you put it on a 7.5, you will be overweight

have you tried " anyvan " " Shipley " or any of the others that are springing up on tinternet ?

ps what does range rover weigh ■■

it weighs 2.1t

would expect a 7.5 t to carry up to 3 -3.5 t depending on body ■■?

Used to drive a 7.5 with tilt and slide. came in at 6.25 on a bridge lol

Average weight on a 7.5t is around 2.2 tons.

you learn something new every day  thanks

Don’t think an A frame will be legal

i prefer to pick it up myself if i can, im buying it unseen and want to check it is as described before parting with my hard earned…

A frame can only be used from “place of breakdown” to “Nearest place of safety”. That could be the next layby. Hence AA and RAC don’t use them anymore
