61 plate axor advice

Was given a new axor a week or so ago, not sure what to think about it at the moment. Its an auto with the gear shift on the armrest.

Anyway I was just wondering how I can get my mpg up on the dash as I cant seem to work it out. Also there is an extra line next to the other airlines & I’m not sure what its for. You have the usual lines but there is another line which looks like an a b s line but I have no idea what it is. Any help appreciated

The extra line is for a trailer equiped with telematics. Eg. A fridge trailer temperature can be displayed on the truck dash with the telematics if fitted but i’ve yet to see one.

You can get Mpg up on dash think it’s on section 2 (need to use the buttons on steering wheel)
You might need to change it from Km’s-mpg , think that’s in section 9 , just a bit of trial in error.
Always thought the other suzzie was a EAB plug(abs) for foreign trailers BUT I could be wrong.

as said to get mpg up just press the buttons on the wheel. if mph is showing on the dash just press the down arrow untill mpg is displayed.

Thanks for the replies, I’ve been playing around with the buttons on the steering wheel but havn’t been able to get the mpg up. Must be doing something wrong

heres a link that might just be what you’re looking for

I’ve got a 60 plate Axor and you can’t get the mpg on the display at all. Mind, I haven’t got any buttons on the steering wheel either, only the switch on the dash as in the link above. Neither can I get the axle weights that I can on the Actros.

AFAIK the extra cable is for a single coupling to a trailer - only the one cable instead of two suzies if you have the socket on the trailer (Euro spec. I think?). You can get a split one that plugs in there with two ordinary suzies coming off it.

If this helps tell everyone how helpful I was. If not, say nothing!!

Its the starter cord, you give it a sharp pull and it starts the engine.

Judging by the replies above it’s definately a BS line:)
