Is it legal to continuously work 6 nights on 3 days off? Never maxed my hours in the past, so knowledge bit patchy on those type of schedules?

As long as your hours for the six days do not exeed your weekly allowance, yes, you can.

Driving definitely not, WTD not sure. Thanks.
Just keep a careful eye on your hours etc, but some weeks you’ll only work 4 or 5 days so that’ll help .
Yes it’s fine. I did 6 on 2 off on the milk, just had to have an extra day off every 8 weeks

Yes absolutely legaly-6on 3off or 6 on 2 off
Just all depend from total working time, driving time…
Just make sure the pay reflects all those premium weekends you’ll be working through, and possibly bank holidays too, plus all the overtime that will be involved.
No problem with the shift pattern so long as it suits you, just that weekends are now normal working days with barely a noticeable premium on the pay for them, i can see them going the way of so called overtime, maybe another £1 an hour above the basic for the first 50 hours, if that.
Be careful that there is a weekly rest for each fixed week and remember that a weekly rest can only be used once
Advantage of having 3 off is that each of those is likely to be about 82 hours so can be split into 45 + 37 or 37 + 45

I’m sure that all the poor saps who work during the weekends (shops, restaurants, pubs, etc etc) will support your notion that working during the weeks nd, is special.
It may have once been, but it’s not anymore.Even Sunday is starting to become a normal day. .
As for being paid overtime rates. Good luck with that in St.Theresa’s independent Britain. .
Oh right, so cos other people have to work weekends in supermarkets and pubs for standard rate, then we should go along too?
I’ll carry on with the proper money and the proper weekend rates, thanks all the same.
If others want proper pay rates they are free to do the ground work, put in the effort and find themselves decent jobs.
One size doesn’t fit all, it never has and it never will, even in the grand european socialist banana republic they are desperate to accomplish.
As for which politicians fault it is? none of them and all of them, a mirror holds the answer to this conundrum, people have been voting turkey like for their very own Christmas for decades so really shouldn’t be surprised when their very own personal Dec 25th arrives without fail every year.
There is always an alternative in life, each of us can with a bit of effort find their own niche.
When I was at continental express they changed us from a 6/5 pattern to 6 on 2 off. It lasted about 6 months as every other week most days half the fleet only had a couple of hours on their 90s
