Have 15 minutes at or before 7am
POA doesn’t count toward the 6 hours of work rule, only driving and other work, so before you exceed 6 hours of working time (driving and other work) you must take a break of at least 15 minutes.
Sorry for sounding like a durr brain.So if i book 1 hour poa does it take it up to 8.00 or do i need to book 30 min break at 7.00

POA doesn’t count as working time so you’re good until 8 o’clock.
The regulations for the 6 hour rule require you to have a 15 minute break before exceeding 6 hours work not a 30 minute break, but if your shift is between 6 and 9 hours then you should have a total of at least 30 minutes interrupting the shift, so if you have 15 minutes at or before 6 hours you should have another break of at least 15 minutes later.

You can go until 8 o’clock and then should have a break of at least 15 minutes.
