I know the eu rules and wtd 45 or 48 average a week 90 a fortnight 56 max. Before 45 hours rest period
So say i work for a company 6 days a week monday to saturday im guessing they have it down to a t. 48 hours a week 8 hours a day drive time all local work. Am i right in saying that would likely be the case for a mon to sat . Have interview and assessment next week i can find out its a heating oil tanker if its 8 hours drive time how many hours would i likely be working that week say 48 drive time and total 60 on a 6 day week
Average is 48 hrs so I. Your case 6 days a week 8 hrs a day easy.
But poa and taking a break don’t count as anything for wd so you can add on another 45 mins x 6 that’s another 6 hours .
So your 48 hours now becomes 54 but still averages out as 48 as your 45 mins a day makes 6 hours over 6 days
Still be 48 hours as 54 -6 is 48.
Hope that makes sense
Any lperiods of poa or break don’t count for wtd if you take longer breaks and use poa obviously you can work more hours a week without affecting your wtd
If it’s paid breaks then it will be pretty dam close to 48 each week and 48 over 6 means nice short days. Do it I say, not all hgv work is 60-70hr weeks and/or tramping.
