Right whats the point propably health and safety but what i can see on double carriageways is artics jumping in front of the cars causing fraffic slowing down which is right opposite isn’tSay what?!
Up yours or its a windup OR you never on double carriageway overtaking 50mph lorry for about 4 mins having lots of cars behind you waiting inpatient until you let them go
Nope can’t remember taking 4 minutes to overtake a lorry doing 50 on a dual carriageway. If i haven’t got the speed to get past sensibly I’ll sit back and enjoy the ride. If I have I “might” go to the limiter, get past and then ease back to my previous speed.
Christ I missed this gem of a thread last night. It seems that boss and driver aka mcthickeray now has another alias/friend.
Regarding the use of OMG. …My daughter and her friends use this expression. They are 12. Yes 12. Not apparently grown men who try to pass themselves off as wagonistas.
I’m with the Joker on this one, he has a valid point, these limited at 50 mph or 52 mph is dangerous to other road users just to save a a few quid in fuel and keep the Directors in fuel gozzling cars.
Did they legal permission to reduce the road speed ?
If they are trundling along, then you will get artics jumping in front of cars.
If the dual carriageway is ending and going to a single for the next thirty miles, you are stuck behind trolley dolley at 38 mph.
I have seen near misses with the frustrations these funeral speed lorries cause on motorways and normal roads.

But then it’s the other drivers responsibility to be alert as to what’s going on. If they simply can’t do that then should they really be driving

It all boils down to Who’s a steering wheel attendant & who’s a real driver

No. They care about your safety. It says so on all their trailers so it must be true.
