Technically under current acpo rules, passed by government, I’m not breaking the law,
Sounds very good and factual that !! However, the reality is that ACPO is a private company and doesn’t makes any laws or rules !! It offers advisory guidance to police forces thats all, none of it is ‘passed by government’. And if you exceed the posted limit or your vehicles limit you are breaking the law. Just so you know !! 
Also some police forces go by them, others don’t.
you know some of the comments posted here are just [zb], this 50mph speed limit were there’s roadworks is also [zb] have you been in the so called roadworks on the M4 around newport [zb] mupets doing 30mph in the middle lane, it now take a half an hour longer to get to fishgard because of the [zb] going on around newport, then the M62 roadworks you can have 5/6/7/ miles between the roadworks and still a 50mph speed limit ( for safty reasons ) a load of bollo-ks, you drive for 3miles in the works and see one fella haveing a ■■■, and the A55 [zb] wat the [zb] 70mph road down to 40mph so some muppet can take photo’s of they handy work, SAFTEY GONE MADE… 
Business as usual this mornin heading north thru Brum,im doin 50 thru roadworks and a Johnny foreigner comes teararsin past two inches off my mirrors

They’re not fupping muppets they’re fupping muckets. 
Just like the ones who are setting those fupping speed limits and putting up average speed cameras everywhere not just those through the so called ‘roadworks’.But some say that the problems will be improved by setting speed limiters at 45 kmh so then no trucks can be held up by those fupping muckets.
