Does anyone know wot happens when you drive past a speed (safety camera) at fifty and its got a height laser with it on a unrestricted single carriage road. Will it flash you and then give you the willies for the next month or so, or have they all been converted to the new rules.
Whether it flashes or not is irrelevant mate. The scenario you described means that no law has been broken, therefore no prosecution can take place. Think of it as driving past double yellow lines and waiting for a fine which will not arrive!

Why does it matter if they have been converted or not, you are doing 50 in a 50 limit so where’s the problem ffs?
