Anyone know if they’ve raised the limit for hgv’s from 40 to 50 yet on single carriageways? I can find old articles on this saying they would, but no confirmation

Where have you been for the last six months? The government made a massive u-turn before Christmas. From the 6th April 2015, the speed limit on a single carriageway for any vehicle in excess of 7.5 tonnes will be 30mph. So watch yourself.
To make things simpler they are changing speed limits on all roads…
A or B roads -FAST
Motorways - DEAD FAST
