Anybody know how I get this.
HMRC website is useless.
Loged into online site can see work history in a fashion saying how much earned at each place I’ve worked etc.
Is There anyway you can get a work history as proof of places worked with dates etc.tried phone HMRC they keep directing me to there website or the chat bot doesn’t recognise my manc accent when I talk to it.
Or keep me on hold for ages then get cut off

If you log into you .gov tax service website, you can go back 5 years of tax history. The names of companies and dates are listed there.

Thing is need it get a security pass obviously know where I e worked but job had before this has closed down.gone bust can’t get a reference from them.
Been told a HMRC letter proving I worked there will be sufficient as i said on there website can see I worked there but also shows how much I have paid in tax etc. Don’t won’t anybody seeing all that
I needed 10yrs worth for my security check, I just picked rough months for start/finish dates and passed. They won’t break your balls if your out by a few weeks here and there.
