If a driver parks up at 20.00 on friday then moves onto a ferry at 2100. Then moves off at 0600 saturday and parks up at 0610.

His weekly rest would start at 0610 when he parks up. You cannot interrupt weekly rest for ferry movements. Then there is the separate issue of it being your 7th 24-hour period since your last weekly rest. Based on info given driver would need to complete a weekly rest period before boarding the ferry.
