I once did faster on the M8 on my way back to glasgow after leaving Tesco hub with hardly any drive time remaining
Those 2 x night trunker flyers tried tonite through J19 / M1 roadworks in lane 2 Northbound (The width/weight restriction lane ) ,around midnight.
But failed miserably , the pair of 
short sighted cant read signs donkey k-nobs.

I assume the flames from the stacks are purely for effect?

I believe some tipper firms have had trials with class 2 versions.
Unfortunately they are not fast enough.
