Not looking forward to my night trunk anymore, roadworks starting this week on A1 & m25 for next 36 months!! So now my run from Chelmsford to newmarket is no problem, but Newmarket to Thatcham thats a different story! If i go A11 - 505 to A1, there is roadworks on A1 Jct 4/3 for next 2 yrs then when i get onto M25 @ M1 jct and its roadworks from Watford to M40 narrow lanes till 2012!! On way back to Chelmsford Its the same bit of M25 then its the 40mph bit between Jct 26/27 for tunnel works then its from jct 27 round to Jct 28 for road widening till 2011, with the lane closures and average speed camera’s it took me 45 minutes longer last night!!

Does it affect your 10 hour night work limit or have you opted out 
never do more than 10 hrs normally start 1800 and finished by 0300 but that is all go with 45 min at Thatcham, truck runs 24/7 and needs to be back by 0300 for reload and out again for day shift at 0400
