keep seeing these on ebay and amazon anyone bought and tried them outsyas they shipped for leicester but the company is based in china.its to power a 700watt microwave in cab.or can any recommend a good quailty one form a rep company plz.

dont need 3000 to power a 700w microwave, I ran my combi micro/grill very easy on 1500w. those got some pretty ropey reviews on Amazon. I have one of these, been excellent and had the best amazon reviews. Can have it in side locker with a short extension lead through to the cab and still turn it on and off from the cab as it has a remote. tells you exactly what you a drawing too. My 900w caravan kettle pulls exactly that. And mine is pure sine wave, far better when powering sensitive stuff like lap tops and tvs

Thats the 3000w one - you linked to the 2000w one .
I have one its in its second truck and four years / nearly 5 years old . Apart from the wired remote giving up it has given me no trouble at all .700 watt microwave ,1.7kw kettle , toaster ,tv+amazon/ Netflix stick, phone chargers and shaver .In both trucks the boss wired me a anderson plug in the passengerside locker and thats where it lives - plug it in on a Monday morning and plug it out on a Friday when I get back. You can run the kettle and the microwave at the same time (with the engine running ) or I can microwave my evening meal , boil the kettle a couple of times at night and again in the morning with no worries about the batteries .
Would have no fear in recommending it to anyone .

Our trucks have inverters fitted from the dealers. They use these:
sterling-power.com/products/48v … =956589115
The 24v, 1800w version, modified sine wave, not pure sine wave. (Sterling call it “quasi” sine wave)
The ones we have are modified such that there is one UK socket, and the EU socket is used to run a cable up to the overhead locker for microwave. not easy for changing cabs of course, but it is easy to get an EU plug and run a lead with UK socket on it if you want.
We have drivers running microwaves and kettles, charging various devices with no issues Ive heard of in the past few years. It seems under powered according to some advice, but has been doing ok for us. From the Sterling site linked. (Im not connected to them, highlight mine)
“General opinion over the last few years was that the quasi-sine wave inverter was dead and the pure sine-wave inverter would rule the world (an opinion not shared by Sterling). Sales of quasi-sine wave inverters have continued to out-grow sales of pure sine-wave, proving that there is plenty of life left in this technology. The principle reason is that most of the equipment such as mobile phones, TV’s, drill chargers and all that type of equipment which used to have a problem working with quasi-sine wave tends to now work fine on quasi-sine as the effected equipment tends to use a switch mode power supply in the design which works fine with quasi sine wave. This meant that rather than the problems getting worse over the years the problems have diminished, however, this is not to say that the odd microwave, drill, vacuum cleaner would not work (if there is a thyristor control circuit employed then this can still be an issue) but there is no question this is becoming more rare as the years go past, plus, it usually is a lot cheaper to replace a £35 microwave to a different model which will work rather than spend £700 on a sine wave model to make it work .”
.
I`m looking myself for summat to use in a private project, and am tempted to go for the cheaper modified, rather than pure, sine variant. Lots of choice but not many with 100% reviews.

The red “Spark” ones seem to be selling out now. Looked like a good buy though.

Better buy good like WAECO 1500W.China can print 3000 or 5000w but actually inventor will produce only 500w.
