3 days unpaid induction

Seen on a job centre advert,3 days un paid work,as part of training, all the jobs that i have taken involved hooking up to a trailer,un hook it,drive around the industrial estate with the firms in house trainer, back to their office to get the keys to start the next day.
I have seen the threads about Uni some or other, where they give drivers a place to stay, and carry out un paid driving for a few days,is this quite common to work for free, and firms using the recession as an excuse to make money, they know it is a waste of time dealing with an employment tribunal claim,if the diver makes a claim.

You just know that any company that asks you to do 3 days unpaid work will be a ■■■■ employer and obviously go through drivers like Jordan does husbands

I wouldn’t give them the benefit of my time or skills

Too right, more change of drivers than a whores knickers, parasites that feed like the pond scum these people are, what is the point when the high cost of obtaining a licence,is that not valid in their company policy.?

i had to do a 3 day induction for were i am doing agency work at the moment, but that was full paid and was only to show you the ropes and get you used to dealing with theirpaperwork… the guy i was doing the induction split the driving with me so it was ok, 6 months later i am still there
