Just 1 would need compensation by the end of 3 weeks after the the week of the reduction, so week 4
But if you actually had say 36 X 2 then the second 1 would pay back the 1st one.

If both of the 24 hour rest periods are in the same week and will count for the same week you would only need to compensate for one of them.
Depending on the circumstances the second reduced weekly rest period may be used as compensation for the first reduced weekly rest period, however if you want to work another six 24 hour periods after the second reduced weekly rest period it would need to be used as a reduced weekly rest period to reset the six 24 hour periods rather than compensation for the first reduced rest period.
It may be that the second reduced rest period can be used as compensation for the first and still leave 24 hours rest to reset the six 24 hour periods, it’s all depends on the length of both rest periods.
That makes sense in my mind so I hope it makes sense to you to

He maybe could be clearer, as he talked about 24 hours to start with and then later was referring to reduced rests in general, as i believe you’re taking away from what he’s said that you can reduce to 24 hours, which means 21 hours to compensate, then take another 24 hour reduced weekly rest within the same fixed week and that would cover the compensation for the 1st.
That can never happen as the compensation needs to be added to a rest period of at least 9 hours, so at best depending on what you do after the 2nd 24 would determine if it’s a daily rest of 9 / 11 and with 15 / 13 hours of compensation or just a reduced weekly rest that’ll reset your 144 / 6x24 and your 3x9 reduced daily rests, but either way 15 hours of compensation is no good if you need 21.
As I said to you on facey, you weren’t actually reducing to 24, you were taking a reduced weekly rest of 36 hours, you then take another 36 hours off in the same fixed week and it’ll be either a 24 hour reduced weekly rest and 12 hours of compensation which will pay back the 1st 9 hours owed, or if needed and depending if you didn’t use anything from the 144 / 3x9, then it could be a daily rest of 9 / 11 hours with 25 / 27 hours of compensation if that was what was required
But like I said, 2 reduced weekly rest of 24 actual hours in the same fixed week will still need 21 hours of compensation adding to a rest period of at least 9 hours before the end of week 4
