Biggest is best, as it has a nice reserves, you can never have to much power,.

Then connect DIRECT to the batteries with a decent Anderson lead, and ensure it is fused correctly.

I have a big lead with huge fuse and the mp4 Actros has 2 m10 posts in fuse box for connections like this  l/h + r/h - , gonna install mine on wedensday or thursday

Do me a favour mate, put some photos up of the whole set up, including what type of fuse holder.
I’m basically asking for an idiot’s guide (me when it comes to vehicle electrics  :unamused: ) to installing one so I do not need to have the Fire brigade on speed dial and standby. .
On the Actros as you know there are + and - terminals behind the cab on nearside, I thought about connecting an Anderson lead on there but (don’t laugh  ) where would I put the fuse, and what type of fuse holder would I need for a jump lead type cable.

Although I am normally an absolute genius on anything else (as well as a truck driving God :sunglasses: ) I am a complete ■■■■ dunce on electrics, so any help will be appreciated with photos/diagrams.
I throw myself on your mercy.

But be warned if I am left with a smoking charred German wreck after a fireball , I will come looking for you in a Liam Neeson/‘Taken’ stylee …
Thanks mate.

Nothing wrong with gas, a pan and a kettle.

Simply lovely.

Except when you run out of gas and don’t have another can

That’s just bad stock control, I buy a box of 28 at a time, four tins always, Unless you have a double burner, and a big old, gas bottle.

Funny that’s just what the Herpes bloke brought me this morning  28 for £25.50 on Amazon

HERPES■■?

Where do you hide something like that?

Side locker, then just run an extension off it into cab?

I have that one off Amazon only I’ve the 200 watt one, it doesnt fit down the side of the passenger seat but it fits nicely behind the seat or underneath. I have mine behnd and it has a wired remote so you don’t have to reach down in everytime lol. A brilliant bit of kit to be able to cook a bit more variety in the cab!

I screwed that up lol. The 2000 watt I have but I have seen plenty of 300 odd watt inverters sold in truckstops.
